Mike Carlson is an attorney and founder of Gray Paper Legal, LLC. Mike uses a variety of subscription and free legal research services to efficiently deliver quality research results. Mike honed his research expertise at Thomson Reuters where he served 10 years as Reference Staff Attorney. Mike was Attorney Editor of the practicelaw library at the Minnesota State Bar Association. Mike delivered CLEs and was the host of the MSBA’s Legal Business as Usual webcast. Mike built document and workflow automations using the Afterpattern platform and most recently served as Template Specialist at Lawyaw, a Clio company.

Armen Stromquist is founder and owner of Creative Data Solutions, LLC and partner at Gray Paper Legal. Armen builds workflow and document templates using Gavel, DocAssemble, Lawyaw, and Afterpattern, among others. Armen also created AI chatbots, data visualizations, and other custom automated solutions for businesses within and without the legal industry.
Ed: Armen has a Master of Science in Data Science with a graduate certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of St. Thomas.

Karen Westwood
is Director of the Hennepin County Law Library in Minneapolis, MN. Her background is in law firm, government and academic law libraries. She also practiced law for a short time in a corporate and securities group. She is passionate about meaningful access to justice, equity in our society, knitting, cooking and, of course, reading.
